Wow, this is a really, really bad video. I've been reviewing various books and videos to refer to the families I work with (as a child psychologist) and was simply aghast at this video. Those less informed would not know any better than to believe this misinformation put out as factual in this video. The makers clearly were interested in pushing their approach and viewpoints, which are not only not based on research, but have been disproven by research. The only agenda I am pushing is that parents become accurately informed and THIS video will not achieve that goal.
As a Counselor working with children I wanted to purchase a video that would help me educate parents about ADHD. I watched this video once and realized that it is one of the most misinformed videos I could had ever buy. It discusses diet and other issues as factors influencing ADHD that are not backed by research. The content was totally useless for me since it is very misleading. If you like to throw your money away, this isn the video for you.
I recently purchased this video and found it very useful. The concept of ADD/ADHD was very well explained and all the symptoms and causes were mentioned and explained in detail. The therapies shown on the tape were very interesting and it made me realize how many other options are out there. This is a very good Parent's guide and I highly recommend it.
