I am in an online doctoral program. This manual is required for the program and I use it almost constantly to write papers for the courses. There are so many rules to writing in the APA format that without the reference manual it would be impossible to write an APA style paper. It is an essential tool for professional writing where APA is required. It does take some study of the manual to become proficient in using it, but content is fairly well laid out and divided into chapters with specific examples.

"Lest there be any misunderstanding, this is not just another book about designing Graphical User Interfaces.
Issues of Human Computer Interaction covers the broad reach of human involvement with computerised Information Systems and includes not only the technological and structural factors but also addresses the social, political and cultural issues of the day.
This series of essays pulls together the many threads associated with the design, implementation and maintenance of contemporary IT installations but focuses mainly on the human issues associated with change, as people adapt to cope with the demands of knowledge-based, learning organisations.
As such, the collection is a valuable reference ...

Beautiful writing and thoughtful ideas distinguish this simplicity title from others. Yes, this book contains many useful tips and real-life anecdotes, but it's most excellent for its perspective on all the dimensions of a woman's life -- whether, and how, to simplify our inner life, work, home life, even our "ornamental" life (clothes and closets, watch out). Relationships, rituals and holidays, even our pleasures ... all are discussed in the kind of intimate, caring tone that you treasure in your closest friends but rarely find in print. Several other women and I have now all read this ...

This is a thoroughly welcome addition to the business continuity books on the market. It brings a clear, rational approach to a very complicated topic. Unsurprisingly, the book adheres to the ten stage process as defined by the Business Continuity Institute and the Disaster Recovery Institute and is written in a style that is easy to read and with very little jargon. (It even gives guidelines on how to read the book.) The book outlines some important lessons: - The Importance of business continuity management- Business continuity plans should be based on outcome scenarios ...
