Customer Review: Wisdom from a Rabbi who is also a physician (5 Stars)
Rabbi Twerski is a remarkable man. Although he is a very orthodox Jew, he became a physician as well as a Rabbi. His field is psychiatry and he combines his two professions to give great advice in short chapters, generally about two pages. This book is a little like "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff," with a twinge of the religious aspect added in. Nonetheless, Rabbi twerski's observations are universal and would be of interest to non Jewish as well as Jewish readers.

Customer Review: Ace is a great American (5 Stars)
Ace Backwards is a great writer, very funny and in his own way, a very brave, honest, patriotic American. I came across his Zine Twisted Image and corresponded with him in the early 1990s. He wrote about controversial issues like Holocaust Revisionism, the LA race riots after Rodney King, the first Gulf War against Iraq and Ace was very honest about writing who was behind that one leading up to this next one.
Does anyone know if Ace Backwards is alive? Well?

This is a very unusual business strategy book on an esoteric topic: solving complex problems with scenario planning and analysis. Author Adam Kahane also discusses how change occurs in complicated social systems. Kahane, a conflict resolution consultant, shares a pivotal skill he learned at his former jobs with Royal Dutch/Shell and Pacific Gas & Electric. He learned how to address tangled problems with scenario analysis. He tried and, as his case histories testify, did not often succeed - to solve daunting problems in intractably troubled places, such as Paraguay, Colombia, South Africa and the Middle East.
