Customer Review: A true savior for parents with LD kids (5 Stars)

This book was recommended to parents of my special ed. students by our school counselor and every one of them who read it bought their own copy. It not only addresses the guilt that a parent can feel when a child is first diagnosed but explains in layman's terms exactly what the child is going through and feeling as he/she tries to deal with every day school environments and life situations. This book is a GREAT way for kids to learn about their own Learning Disabilities (the book calls them Learning Differences). I read this book to my son to help explain to him why he's noticing that he's different from some of the other kids in school. The book creates such a relaxed, non-threatening attitude about LDs, and asks some really great questions to help the kids see which LD(s) fit them. It addresses ADHD as well!
