Customer Review: Excellent resource for counselors and teachers alike. (5 Stars)
At one point or another in our careers we are going to be called upon to counsel children who present with learning difficulties and their families. This book is an excellent resource that will greatly enhance the counselor's understanding of these often mysterious issues. Comprehensive in scope, the authors present the current thinking in the field from the disciplines of education, sociology, psychology, psychiatry, and neuroscience.

Customer Review: This is a wonderful book! (5 Stars)
As the parent of a 22 year old learning disabled daughter I can attest to the validiy of everything written in this book.The format is easy to read and understand. I liked the paragraphs written by the author and then followed up by quotes from the interviewed adults. This book is not jargon filled and is a great resource for people with little knowledge about adults with learning disabilities as well as those who have spent many years in the field on learning disabilities.What a great help this book will be to the general population in understanding the ...
