Customer Review: Power Cards is an excellent new approach to helping kids. (5 Stars)
I have read and re-read the Power Cards book with great satisfaction. This new approach to working with some of our special kids is wonderful and I have found that these concepts really work. They are well thought out and easy to do. I hope that everyone will give this concept a try, especially when it seems nothing else seems to work.

Customer Review: A Good Explanation (5 Stars)
This is a book I wish had existed a generation ago. It is written in a clear and direct fashion. For many people with Asperger's, having instructions and/or information broken down into manageable portions is a very effective approach.I like the way this book explains behaviors that are common among many people with Asperger's. Since this is a neurological spectrum condition that is on the autism spectrum, many of the challenges people with Asperger's face are sensory ones. People with Asperger's often have heightened sensory modes and have extreme reactions to stimuli, e.g. strong adverse responses ...

David and Anna meet during her year in England while they're in college. And then she's gone, back home to Ogunquit, leaving him behind without telling him she's pregnant. Ten years later she and their daughter Rachel are in a traffic accident leaving Anna in a coma. Her mother calls David who has been meandering meaninglessly through his life since college, and tells him about Anna and that he's a father.
