Customer Review: A great book for all (5 Stars)
As a teacher of students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, I have found Sicile-Kira's book to be an excellent resource for parents, peers, service providers, administrators, and classroom volunteers. It provides practical information and a variety of resources for anyone who teaches, works with, or knows someone with ASD. Sicile-Kira does a great job of defining and explaining autism related terms and concepts in a user-friendly manner. The book is illustrated with many experiences from her own life and the lives of individuals with ASD. This book alone is a `must have' for any lending library.

Customer Review: Only one of its kind (5 Stars)
This is a different kettle of fish to Tony Attwood. But very valuable. Tony is a god and the tone is optimistic generally which is good as an introduction but he doesn't get to the nitty gritty of faecal soiling or being awake all night! This book is more directly concerned with specific problems of behaviour. Education is not covered. I wish I had had it when my own AS child was awake all night long. I would have tried the technique that keeps them up 1 hour longer than the time they drop ...
